Cole Palmer went from minus one to 21 points, but even the Chelsea superstar could not outscore a Tottenham defender who found the back of the net while sitting on the pitch in the Premier League… It was that kind of weekend in SuperCoach EPL. Spurs centre-back Jan Paul van Hecke produced, not only one of the Premier League's most extraordinary goals of the round but in the competition's history, scoring from a seated position as the Dutchman claimed a gameweek-high 25 points.

Van Hecke's goal sealed a 2-0 win over 10-man Crystal Palace on Sunday (AEDT) as in-form Tottenham celebrated a third straight win. Meanwhile, Palmer delivered a remarkable response to his Week 8 disappointment, while a collection of bargain buys and unlikely heroes emerged among the competition's top performers.

With some of the Premier League's biggest names struggling to deliver, Football360 examines the top 10 SuperCoach EPL scorers from Week 9 and the players managers might want to think twice about. Jan Paul van Hecke, 25 points, £10,400,000, Tottenham Who needs to be standing to score?

Van Hecke produced one of the weekend's most outrageous moments, finding the net from a seated position on his way to a gameweek-high 25 points. The £10.4million defender is owned by just 2.5% of SuperCoach managers and has accumulated 80 points this season.

Van Hecke is not cheap but he is proving to be well worth the investment. Cole Palmer, 21 points, £7,660,000, Chelsea What a difference a week makes.

After recording minus one point in Week 8 following his red card, Palmer responded in style. Palmer produced a 21-point performance - an extraordinary 22-point turnaround after scoring in Chelsea's 2-0 win over lowly Manchester United.

Owned by 46.6% of managers, the Chelsea superstar rewarded those who kept faith after his previous disappointment. Oliver McBurnie, 21 points, £4,910,000, Hull City Don't sleep on Hull City's McBurnie, who matched Palmer's 21-point haul thanks to his goalscoring exploits in the newly-promoted side's 2-2 draw with Ipswich Town.

He is one of the biggest bargains of the round, costing just £4.91m and featuring in only 0.5% of SuperCoach teams. The veteran Hull striker has now scored 47 points this season, making him an intriguing differential.

Yasin Ayari, 20 points, £8,060,000, Brighton and Hove Albion As Brighton and Hove Albion continue to take the Premier League storm, it is thanks to players like Ayari. It was a breakout performance from one of the competition's lesser-owned midfielders, whose goal conquered league-leading Manchester City 1-0.
