Alaba joins Okoye as Udinese snap up 4-time Champions League winner

Udinese have signed four-time Champions League winner David Alaba on a free transfer until the end of the season. The Austrian defender joins Maduka Okoye in the Serie A Udinese have added a huge dose of experience to their defence by signing four-time Champions League winner David Alaba, giving Nigeria goalkeeper Maduka Okoye a new high-profile teammate.

The Serie A club have turned to the former Real Madrid and Bayern Munich defender despite the transfer window being closed, with Alaba joining on a deal until the end of the season as Udinese look to address their defensive problems. Alaba arrives in Italy with one of the most decorated résumés in European football.

The Austria international has won the Champions League four times, lifted 10 Bundesliga titles with Bayern Munich and claimed two LaLiga crowns during his spell at Real Madrid.
