Piers Morgan, who supports Arsenal, has mocked Manchester City after the Cityzens celebrated Enzo Maresca winning seven Premier League games in a row. Manchester City secured a 3-2 win over Ipswich Town at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.

Goals from Phil Foden and an Erling Haaland brace sealed the result for the Cityzens as they continued to impress on the pitch, despite being found guilty of financial breaches by the Premier League. The win kept them at the top of the Premier League table.

Maresca's team have won all seven of their league games this season. The Italian coach is the first manager to win his first seven games with a club in the Premier League.

Despite Manchester City celebrating Maresca's achievement, Morgan couldn't help but call Arsenal's rivals out. He stated that some form of 'humility' would have been better since all these wins won't count in the end because of the punishment that awaits them for the breaches.

Notably, City have appealed against the verdict and have maintained their innocence regarding the matter. There has yet to be a confirmation on the status of the appeal or of what punishment they could face if the verdict is upheld.

Reacting to Manchester City's post on X, Morgan wrote: "Some humility wouldn't go amiss given none of these wins will count by the end of this season." 🙄Some humility wouldn't go amiss given none of these wins will count by the end of this season. City next face AEK Athens in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Arsenal must beat Nottingham Forest away from home to keep Manchester City within touching distance WhenArsenal convincingly beat Manchester City in the Community Shield clash back in August, there was a feeling that the Gunners could repeat what they did last season. However, despite not enjoying the best of starts to the season, City continued to string together wins and after Arsenal's loss to Brighton & Hove Albion before the international break, Maresca's side hold a three-point lead in the title race.

Thanks to the win against Ipswich Town, City have extended the lead to six points. take the trip to City Ground on Sunday, when they face Nottingham Forest.

Nothing short of a win will do for the reigning Premier League champions.
