Arsenal have now done something no other Champions League side has managed this season

Arsenal beat Lille 3-0 on Tuesday night, and with it they achieved something no other team has done in the Champions League this season. Mikel Arteta's side have kept two clean sheets across both their games so far.

Nobody else in the competition can say that after two matchdays, with Sporting CP and Stuttgart the next best on one goal conceded apiece. It is yet another example of just how strong the Premier League champions are at the back, even in the absence of William Saliba.

Arsenal have been slow out of the blocks in these games, a pattern that has crept into their league games too. After leaving it late in the 1-0 win away at Napoli, it took Arsenal until the last half hour and a triple change from Arteta for the goals to start coming against Lille.

Aside from winning the Champions League, how can Arteta surpass Arsene Wenger as Arsenal's greatest manager? They are hard to break down and have such a strong bench which gives them a major advantage over most other teams in Europe.

The trip to Napoli was the harder of the two tests on paper, and Arsenal came through it comfortably, despite the narrow scoreline - they generated over 4.0 xG while allowing just 0.2 xG. Lille, for all their first-half endeavour and a goal disallowed, never really looked like troubling David Raya either.

Arsenal face their biggest test yet next week Which brings us to the Allianz Arena next week, and Arsenal's biggest test yet. Bayern Munich have scored eight goals in their two games, having hammered Bodo/Glimt 5-0 on matchday one.

However, unlike Arsenal, they have conceded three, following a surprising 3-3 draw with Viking FK. MORE ARSENAL STORIES Vincent Kompany's side have shown they are a team that attack relentlessly but as a result can be quite open at the back.

If a Norwegian team can score three past them, Arsenal will surely fancy their chances if they can keep them out at the other end. Arteta's side have also been handed an early boost for that tie.

Michael Olise will miss the clash after picking up a red card against Bodo Glimt on Tuesday night. Of course, they still have Harry Kane to contend with, who has notched 15 goals against the Gunners - no other player has scored more against Arsenal.
