Bayern Munich and Arsenal share four goals in Champions League draw

Bayern Munich and Arsenal played out an entertaining 2-2 draw at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday in the third round of the league phase of the UEFA Champions League. Arsenal took the lead in the 25th minute when Eberechi Eze finished after being found by Martin Odegaard.
The visitors had enjoyed more possession for much of the match, but Bayern Munich continued to threaten and created several opportunities of their own. The German side levelled 10 minutes later.
Alphonso Davies completed a Bayern attack in the 35th minute to make it 1-1. Both teams continued to attack after the interval, with Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya and Bayern captain Manuel Neuer making important saves to keep the score level.
Bayern went ahead in the 61st minute when Harry Kane converted a penalty. The England captain's spot-kick put the hosts in front after another closely contested spell.
Arsenal refused to settle for defeat and continued to press for an equaliser. Their efforts were rewarded in the 82nd minute when Declan Rice scored to restore parity.
Neither side could find a winning goal late on, with the goalkeepers and defences ensuring the match ended 2-2. The result leaves Arsenal on seven points from three matches, having recorded two wins and a draw, and in seventh place.
