Como match biggest ever Champions League win as Paz pays tribute to De Miguel

Como recorded a remarkable 9-1 victory away to Lens, matching the largest winning margin in Champions League history. Tenerife-born Nico Paz paid tribute to the late Tenerife player Jesús De Miguel during the match.
Only twice before in the Champions League had a team won by an eight-goal margin: Liverpool defeated Besiktas 8-0 in 2007, and Real Madrid beat Malmö by the same score in 2015. The achievement is even more notable as this is Como's debut season in the Champions League.
The Serie A side has risen rapidly after spending years in Italy's lower divisions. Como now sit fourth in their group with nine points from four matches.
They lost to Feyenoord three weeks ago but won their other three games. Former FC Utrecht striker Anastasios Douvikas starred in Lens with a hat-trick.
Paz added an emotional touch to the evening by scoring Como's third goal just before half-time, then revealing a shirt bearing De Miguel's image and the Spanish message "Rest in Peace". De Miguel died on Tuesday following a collision with FC Andorra's goalkeeper, leaving Tenerife in mourning.
Paz spent two years in CD Tenerife's youth academy, while his father Pablo Paz played six seasons for the club. De Miguel, originally from Madrid, joined Tenerife last year.
Haaland rescues City in Leipzig Erling Haaland spared Manchester City from dropping points at RB Leipzig, scoring the decisive goal with just over ten minutes remaining to secure a 3-2 win. The Norwegian striker now has five goals in this Champions League campaign.
Arsenal remain unbeaten in the Champions League after a 2-1 victory over Slavia Prague. Jurriën Timber started on the bench and entered the match with twelve minutes left, conceding a goal but helping to preserve Arsenal's win.
Real Betis, who beat Feyenoord 1-0 two weeks ago, could not continue their winning run and lost 2-1 to Borussia Dortmund. Joey Veerman started for Dortmund and played the full match.
