Elche star wanted in Germany

A member of the defensive ranks at La Liga outfit Elche has made his way onto the transfer radar of Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt. This comes amid the understanding that the Eintracht brass have held initial talks over a potential deal for Buba Sangaré.

Sangaré - a defender who chiefly lines out on the right but is also capable of slotting into a central role - has played a leading role for Elche across the early weeks of the campaign. At just 19, the Spanish youth international has established himself as a key figure in Alicante, featuring from the off in all but one of Elche's 11 league fixtures to date.

And his exploits along the way, as alluded to above, do not appear to have gone unappreciated across the continent… As per a report from transfer market insider Matteo Moretto: 'Eintracht are interested in Buba Sangaré from Elche. The German club have held initial contact with the entourage of the right-back to assess the feasibility of the operation.
