Former Premier League Star Turns Uber Driver

Former Premier League star Hugo Porfirio has swapped beating full-backs to beating red lights in a new career as an Uber driver. Porfirio spent the 1996/97 season on loan at West Ham and made 23 appearances for the Irons.

He managed four goals while at the Boleyn Ground before heading back to Sporting Lisbon, as reported by talkSPORT. He was back in England a couple of years later with Nottingham Forest.

That proved to be a far less successful spell than his one at West Ham. Hugo Porfirio during his time at West Ham Porfirio made nine appearances for the Hammers and scored a single goal.

His goals while playing for the Irons included strikes against Chelsea and Blackburn Rovers.
