Huddersfield Town's Derensili Sanches Fernandes has admitted that he has read talk that he could join a Premier League side in January, but he insists his only focus is on the Terriers. The Yorkshire outfit had a busy summer transfer window as they prepared for Martin Drury's first season in charge.

That saw the club look to the overseas market at times as well, with Fernandes a high-profile addition from Dutch side Excelsior. It's not just the end product that has made Fernandes stand out, as his pace, ability to beat players and his ability on the ball means he is a joy to watch for Huddersfield fans.

Yet,speaking to Dutch media outlet Voetbal, Fernandes admitted the idea he could move to the Premier League is 'crazy', as he stated that his only concern is trying to continue his good form for the Terriers.

It's all happening way too fast. I'm not thinking about that at all right now; whatever happens, happens, but I'm going to fight to bring Huddersfield back to the level where they belong. His dream of playing in the Premier League himself is very much alive.

I am still two steps away.
