20/10/2026 Jack Moylan has been tipped to be a perfect fit for a Premier League side after his great start to the Championship season with Cardiff. The former Shelbourne man moved to the Welsh capital over the summer from Lincoln City for just over €4million, joining Cork-native manager Brian Barry-Murphy and fellow Irish internationals Callum Robinson and Joel Bagan.

And he's hit the ground running at the Blue Birds, scoring six goals and registering 3 assists from 11 Championship matches so far this campaign. That form has also seen Jack Moylan break into Hemir Hallgrimsson's Ireland team, scoring hisfirst competitive goalin the 3-0 win over Israel last month.

'He's doing very, very well, but he's a player we wanted to sign because of his potential and his ability to play in different positions. 'Everything he's done has been great because it's not easy.

But there's a lot more for him to improve on, and he has to improve and train hard because there are so many parts of his game that can get better. When he does that, he'll become an even better player for the club and the supporters.

' And after his stellar start to the season, the 25-year-old is being tipped for a move to a Premier League side. lackburn Rovers' Ryan Alebiosu battles with Cardiff City's Jack Moylan.

I think Jack is only going that way [up]. It's only early days, you don't want to be getting too carried away, butCardiffwill be doing well to hold on to him if he keeps up this level of form.

' Cawley added that Moylan would fit seamlessly at the West London club. 'There is one club I have in mind, which probably a lot of people have in mind, because of his close connection with a couple of the staff members and with the Irish connection at the club.

Jack Moylan of Cardiff City runs past Lewis Travis of Derby County. I think he's a fantastic player.
