L'Oréal Groupe makes football sponsorship debut with PSG

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have entered into a strategic partnership with L'Oréal Groupe, naming the French beauty giant their official beauty partner through 2028. The agreement marks L'Oréal Groupe's first-ever partnership with a football club, bringing together elite sport, dermatological science and consumer engagement.

The collaboration will initially be activated through Vichy Laboratoires, which will become PSG's official skincare and haircare partner. The brand will support the club's men's first team at the PSG Campus in Poissy and the Parc des Princes, integrating its dermatological expertise into players' skincare and haircare routines.

Beyond product integration, the partnership will explore the relationship between skin health, scalp health, well-being and athletic performance. Vichy's scientific teams will work alongside experts at the PSG Campus on observational studies, while the organisations will also develop educational content connecting dermatological science with the demands of elite sport.

The agreement extends beyond the training ground, with L'Oréal Groupe brands set to engage supporters through activations at selected PSG home matches. The initiatives are intended to combine beauty, innovation and sport, using the club's international reach to connect with audiences beyond traditional football sponsorship.

For L'Oréal Groupe, the partnership represents an entry into football club sponsorship and an opportunity to bring its scientific expertise and consumer brands into a high-performance sporting environment. For PSG, the agreement reinforces its positioning at the intersection of football, fashion and lifestyle, creating another avenue to connect with global audiences through commercial partnerships.

The deal also reflects the growing scope of sports sponsorship, as brands seek to build associations with athlete well-being and fan experiences rather than rely solely on conventional visibility. Financial terms have not been disclosed, and the companies have yet to detail the full range of L'Oréal Groupe brands that may participate in future activations.

The partnership will run through 2028, with Vichy Laboratoires leading the initial phase of the collaboration.
