com-Cameroon Cameroon's Lekié Football Filles have departed for Egypt ahead of their maiden participation in the CAF Women's Champions League, with Nchout Ajara and her teammates set for a challenging Group A campaign against some of the continent's established women's football forces. The Cameroonian champions qualified for the sixth edition of the competition as representatives of the UNIFFAC zone and will be hoping to make a strong impression on their continental debut.

Their group brings together Morocco's FUS Rabat, South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns and Egyptian hosts FC Masar. Lekié FF will begin their campaign on Sunday, November 1, against FUS Rabat.

The encounter will provide an early test of the Cameroonians' ambitions as they seek a positive start to their first appearance at this level. Their second assignment comes on November 4 against Mamelodi Sundowns, one of Africa's most experienced women's club sides and former champions of the competition.

Lekié will then conclude their group-stage fixtures against Egyptian representatives FC Masar on November 7. The challenge is significant, but the Cameroonians will travel with the ambition of competing for one of the two semi-final places available in Group A.

With Nchout Ajara bringing her experience to the squad, Lekié will be determined to show that their qualification was no coincidence. The 2026 CAF Women's Champions League runs from November 1 to 15 in Ismailia, Egypt.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, scheduled for November 11, while the final will be played on November 15. Lekié FF - Group A fixtures November 1: FUS Rabat vs Lekié FF November 4: Lekié FF vs Mamelodi Sundowns November 7: FC Masar vs Lekié FF
