Manchester City found guilty of 114 of 115 Premier League charges

The verdict, reported on Friday, September 25, 2026, follows a lengthy legal battle that has hung over the reigning Premier League champions for several years.

According to reports, an independent commission found the club guilty on all but one of the 115 alleged breaches. The Premier League originally charged City in February 2023 over alleged breaches of its financial regulations covering several seasons between 2009 and 2018.

The case also included allegations relating to the club's cooperation with the league's investigation.
