Milan Eye Touted Premier League Pair to Succeed Modric

Milan convinced Luka Modric tostayfor another year in the summer, but preparations are underway to find a proper heir, as the same thing is unlikely to happen again at the end of the season, and the officials have earmarked two Premier League stars, Bournemouth's Alex Scott and Brighton's Yasin Ayari to succeed him. According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Rossoneri are ready to splurge for the candidate they like the most.

The Englishman can play either as a deep-lying playmaker or a no. He got his start at Bristol City before transferring to his current team in 2023.

He has put up 7 goals and 7 assists in 95 matches with the Cherries. The 23-year-old debuted with England in the most recent international window.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Milan would have to be ready to spend at least €50M on Scott and would have to beat the competition of the English powerhouses. Per Tuttosport, the Rossoneri are also keeping tabs also on Yasin Ayari, who has different traits but has been very effective at Brighton.

The 23-year-old scored 6 times and dished out 4 helpers in 70 Premier League tilts so far. His valuation amounts to about €40M.

Roma and a few European sides are keen on him as well. Our Take on Milan, Modric, Scott, and Ayari If Ruben Amorim sticks around, they won't necessarily need somebody with the Croat's passing chops and technique, as the system relies more on the attackers in that regard, but they'll surely miss the legend's command and leadership.

They are after very gifted players, but they'll need somebody who could lead the midfield off the bat.
