Premier League Press Conferences Today: Szoboszlai, Isak and James Latest

Iraola left the door open for Szoboszlai, Isak and Gakpo on Thursday, and Carrick and Alonso speak on Friday. Here is what has been said so far before the FPL GW7 deadline.

Andoni Iraola wouldn't rule Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexander Isak or Cody Gakpo in or out on Thursday, Reece James is a doubt for Chelsea's 12.30pm kick-off at Everton, and Michael Carrick and Xabi Alonso are both due to speak today. Two managers have already done their pre-match briefings: Iraola at Liverpool and Matthias Jaissle at Newcastle, both on Thursday.

Here's what they said, who's still to come, and what it means for your team. Already spoken: Iraola and Jaissle Liverpool (Brentford away, Sat 3pm).

Szoboszlai, Isak and Gakpo all missed the last two games, and Iraola wanted to see Friday's training before deciding. "It's early for us to say, we have still tomorrow's training," he told reporters on Thursday, according to Liverpool's website.

He added: "I leave the chance open this time, yes." That's more hopeful than last week, when Isak and Gakpo were ruled out flat. It still isn't an all-clear, and Ryan Gravenberch is suspended after his red card against Man City, so Liverpool's midfield is short either way.

FPL still lists Szoboszlai at 75% and Isak and Gakpo at 0%. Newcastle (Aston Villa at home, Sat 5.30pm).

Bazoumana Touré, who hurt his ankle in stoppage time at Coventry, is close. "Bazou seems to be much better," Jaissle said on Thursday, per Newcastle's website.

Anthony Elanga is out for weeks ("We miss him a lot. I can't wait to have him back in the squad"), and Jaissle said of Tino Livramento: "we need to be cautious and we don't rush him." Jacob Ramsey is "making progress" but is still out.
