Premier League rivals join Liverpool in blockbuster move to sign Trent Alexander-Arnold from Real Madrid: Reports

Real Madrid defender Trent Alexander-Arnold is reportedly attracting interest from Liverpool and other Premier League clubs. Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City are reportedly keeping tabs on the Englishman amid speculation about his future.

According to a report in TEAMtalk, Alexander-Arnold could be set for a return to the Premier League soon. The right-back has not managed to cement his place in Real Madrid's starting XI and is being linked with an exit.

He left Liverpool in 2025 for a reported £10 million compensation, as Los Blancos wanted him to play a month before his contract at Anfield expired. He left after refusing to sign a new deal at Anfield, but the Reds are open to bringing him back from Spain.

Chelsea have Malo Gusto and Marco Palestra battling for the right wing-back role under Xabi Alonso, and are looking to add more firepower. They see the Englishman as the ideal player for the squad, and are reportedly in the race for him.

Manchester City have used Matheus Nunes as their main right-back for months and are now looking to add another defender. They were chasing Chelsea's Gusto, but have now shifted focus to Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Arsenal are the final Premier League side reported to be keeping tabs on the former Liverpool man. The Gunners are looking to add another right-back as Ben White and Jurrien Timber have been dealing with injury issues.
