Former Rangers winger Rabbi Matondo could be back at Ibrox this season, just not in the home dressing room. The Wales international parted ways with the Light Blues in March 2026, joining Norwegian club Brann.

As things stand, it is unclear if Hibs will offer him a contract, as it depends on a number of factors. For starters, personal terms need to be agreed, which, along with wages, would hinge on how much game time Reedijk is willing to promise the winger.

What may work in the Welshman's favour is the fact that he has decent experience in the Scottish Premiership and is yet to hit his prime. This is obviously something that did not sit well with the former Schalke attacker. In 70 appearances for the Ibrox outfit, he only managed to score eight goals and provide 11 assists, an underwhelming output for someone who was expected to be a regular starter and game changer.

It remains to be seen whether or not he's a hit at Hibs.
