'Terrible' - Barcelona fans take aim at one player during Atlético clash

Supporters of La Liga giants Barcelona have taken to social media in numbers on Sunday evening, to make known their grievances with one member of Hansi Flick's defensive ranks. Barcelona are of course currently locked in action on the domestic front, in a La Liga meeting with Diego Simeone's Atlético Madrid.

The visitors headed into the matchup in the knowledge that an eventual defeat would see them leapfrogged by their hosts to the top of the table. As things stand early in proceedings at the Metropolitano, though, Barca do find themselves trailing.

Twice carved open at the back inside the opening ten minutes, Giuliano Simeone made the Catalans pay for their defensive lapses in opening the evening's scoring with a composed finish. And despite Barcelona's collective woes at the back, those of a Blaugrana persuasion have since pointed the finger of blame squarely in one direction.

Taking to social media in their droves, the Barca faithful have taken firm aim at João Cancelo, for his persistent defensive lapses. Cancelo est un piètre défenseur et je pèse mes mots.

I défensif est d'une négativité sans précédent.
