"This is really bad for the Premier League" - Gary Neville makes feelings clear after Manchester City thrash Liverpool

Gary Neville believes the guilty verdict against Manchester City is a bad look on the Premier League after the Cityzens' win over Liverpool. Enzo Maresca's team were in action for the first time since they were found guilty of financial breaches by the Premier League.
Manchester City received a hostile reception from the Liverpool crowd but ran out 3-0 winners after Ryan Gravenberch was sent off for the hosts. Erling Haaland, Jeremy Doku and Rayan Cherki got on the scoresheet as Manchester City maintained their three-point lead over Arsenal in the title race.
Although Manchester City have appealed against the Premier League 's verdict on them breaching the rules, Neville insists that the uncertainty over the sanctions is putting the Premier League in a bad light. The formerManchester United captain admitted that winning against Liverpool at Anfield isn't an easy thing and City deserve credit for it.
However, Neville also feels that the big cloud around them regarding the financial breaches cannot be overlooked until the final verdict is out. Neville said on Sky Sports: "To come and win at Anfield is really difficult and we should be eulogising over them without a but or any hesitation.
But there is that thing in the back of your mind that they've done a brilliant job here today. They've obviously dominated the game in the last 20 minutes from the red card onwards.
If these guilty verdicts obviously are confirmed in January, February, that Manchester City are not going to be in the position that they're in and there's going to be a huge cloud hanging over the whole league. And this is not good for the Premier League right now.
That's what I've just recognised today. This is really bad for the Premier League and it's going to continue for a few months.
Manchester City next face Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the Champions League on Wednesday. Enzo Maresca responds when asked if the threat of potential sanctions diminished the joy of Manchester City win vs Liverpool In the wake of the 3-0 win against Liverpool, Enzo Maresca made his feelings clear about the threat of potential punishment awaiting his team despite their appeal.
The City boss remains hopeful of winning the appeal and insisted that he is happy with the win. Maresca stated: You cannot imagine how happy I am."
