Three things we learnt from Bundesliga Matchday 6's faltering attack, Niclas Füllkrug's impact on Bremen and a crazy start to the season

Eintracht Frankfurt opened Bundesliga Matchday 6 with a much-needed 1-0 win against 1. FC Köln, following their 6-0 loss to RB Leipzig last weekend.
Saturday afternoon saw 10 teams in action, with Borussia Dortmund travelling to Union Berlin, Elversberg hosting Augsburg, Hamburg facing Stuttgart, Schalke playing Mainz, and Werder Bremen facing Paderborn. Here are the three things we learnt: Borussia Dortmund's attack is not good enough: Since Niko Kovac extended his contract at Dortmund earlier this week, they have not yet scored a goal.
Obviously, this is purely coincidental, but what the loss against Bodo Glimt in midweek and this goalless draw against Union Berlin have shown is that Dortmund's attack is underperforming. The injury to Giannis Konstantelias and then Konstantinos Karetsas going off injured today don't help, but the players who do make up die Schwarzgelben's attack are clearly not able to generate the chances needed for Dortmund to score.
Ethan Nwaneri has struggled since joining the Bundesliga side on loan in the summer, but because of the lack of depth in the attack due to injuries, while Maximilian Beier is inconsistent, Matias Albert is 17, and Fabio Silva, after a hot start to the season, has seen a drop in his form. On top of this, Kovac's style of play is really hit or miss when it comes to whether it is even effective or not, and today has shown that it really isn't, especially with the quality of players that he has at his disposal.
Something needs to change sooner rather than later, or Dortmund may end up regretting extending Kovac's contract. Niclas Füllkrug has transformed Werder Bremen: Since returning to the Bundesliga in the summer, Niclas Füllkrug has scored six goals in six games and currently sees himself as the top scorer in the league, while also scoring 50% of Bremen's goals so far.
It is safe to say that the return of the 33-year-old to the Weserstadion has had a transformative impact on the team, as it not only gives them a high-quality striker, but also a focal point in their attack, which has helped get the best out of the other players around Füllkrug, including Marco Grüll and Eren Dinkci. This has also helped Bremen come from 2-0 down twice in two games to rescue a point in each of them, as against newly promoted Paderborn, Daniel Thioune's side did find themselves 2-0 down going into half-time, until Füllkrug helped turn the game around.
With the form that the 33-year-old finds himself in, Jürgen Klopp may find it hard not to hand him a recall to the German national team in the November break. A crazy start to the Bundesliga season: If you want to make any takeaways from the first six games of this Bundesliga season, you can't.
This weekend has again shown that the start to the season has been rather chaotic. Augsburg, who drew 2-2 with Bayern Munich last weekend, lost 4-3 to Elversberg.
Then Hamburg scored late once again to beat Stuttgart, who are having a tough start to the Bundesliga season. Add to this, on Friday, Frankfurt won 1-0 after losing last weekend to Leipzig 6-0, who themselves are inconsistent.
