Tottenham vs Coventry City Premier League preview, team news, predicted XI

Roberto De Zerbi's men will hope to end their winless Premier League run when they host newly promoted Coventry City at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Monday. A first Premier League win has been knocking on the door for Tottenham Hotspur for some time now, but their poor finishing means nobody has managed to open it just yet.

That was the case again last weekend, when a 10-man Spurs side snatched a stoppage-time equaliser against Manchester United in a dramatic 1-1 draw. In reality, though, Tottenham should have been in a comfortable position long before that, having wasted far too many chances in front of goal.

Without a doubt, that will have been one of the biggest things De Zerbi's men worked on during their 'team-bonding' trip to Marbella last week. This fixture was widely tipped to be the game that finally ended Tottenham's winless run, but Coventry took a little offence to that prediction, thrashing Newcastle United 4-1 last Monday.

Frank Lampard's men currently sit 15th inthe Premier League table, with double the points of Tottenham, who remain rooted to the bottom. Savio picked up a muscular problem on Tuesday and is expected to be out for a few weeks. Bergvall, meanwhile, apparently played the entire United game with pain in his knee before feeling the repercussions during training the following day.

The midfielder is now expected to miss the next two weeks. Rodrigo Bentancur is suspended for this fixture, as well as Tottenham's next two, after headbutting Luke Shaw during on Saturday.

There is, however, some fantastic news. After more than a year on the sidelines, Dejan Kulusevski will finally be included in the matchday squad.

De Zerbi confirmed the Swede would be on the bench, saying: "Yes [he will be on the bench], the medical staff have given the ok. It's probably the greatest news since the Everton game (last season).

I told him yesterday and he had a big smile on his face." We've got even bigger smiles on our faces.
