Venezia vs. Udinese: Serie A official Week 11 line-ups

It kicks off at 20:45 CET [19:45 GMT] at the Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo, with Juan Luca Sacchi refereeing. Venezia are last in Serie A on three points, and Udinese are 19th on five.

Davide Nicola's side won his first game in charge against Napoli, but have lost four straight since, most recently 1-0 at Como last Sunday. Paolo Zanetti takes charge of Udinese for the first time, and his debut comes against the club he took into Serie A in 2021.

He replaced Kosta Runjaic, who was sacked on Monday after a 5-2 home defeat to Roma left Udinese eight games without a win. "With me, those who run and deserve it play," Zanetti said at his unveiling on Wednesday.

Nicola has said he is there mainly to get used to matchday again and is unlikely to play a major role. Andrea Adorante (back), Bartol Franjić (shoulder) and Marin Šverko (hip) are still out.

Oumar Solet is back for Udinese after a calf injury, but Zanetti has said his minutes will be carefully managed. Keinan Davis is a late doubt with a muscle problem, and Vakoun Bayo has only just returned from a hamstring injury.

David Alaba (calf) and Alessandro Zanoli (muscle) won't be back until after the international break, and Gueye is out after ankle surgery. Neither side has any players suspended.
