Viking FK vs Bayern Munich LIVE - Confirmed starting lineups & pre-match updates for Champions League 2026-27

Viking FK are all set to lock horns with Bayern Munich for their second league phase fixture of the UEFA Champions League 2026-27 campaign. The match will take place at the Viking Stadion in Stavanger.

Led by Bjarte Lunde Aarsheim & Morten Jensen, the Dark Blues have secured consecutive wins in their last four matches, but their opening UCL game of the season ended in a 1-3 loss against VfB Stuttgart. They failed to control the tempo of the game.

Their performance in the final third was not good enough. Their efforts in the domestic tournaments are good enough, but they must do a lot more in the European competition.

Despite being at their home ground, Viking are going to have the easiest of the games. They cannot give away the ball for free to the German giants, or the contest will end badly for them.

In their first league phase outing of the UEFA Champions League 2026-27 edition, the Vincent Kompany-led side thrashed Bodo/Glimt to bag a 5-0 win and three crucial points. They will now be looking to extend their winning run.

With their strong squad quality, the Bavarians are going to have a stronger chance. Bayern Munich might be away from home for their upcoming outing, but their play style and tactics make them a strong side.

They will be fully confident for their next Champions League clash. Players to Watch Peter Christiansen (Viking FK) The 26-year-old forward is going to be one of the main men in the squad for Viking FK.

He will now be looking to step up. The player is keen to score his first goal of the UEFA Champions League 2026-27 campaign.

Peter Christiansen has scored 12 goals and has six assists in 21 Eliteserien games this season. Michael Olise (Bayern Munich) Even though he did not manage to engrave his name on the score sheet, Michael Olise was one of the most consistent performers for Bayern Munich in their 2-2 draw against FC Augsburg.
