'We want to win the Premier League and Champions League' - Tottenham CEO sets lofty trophy aim

Spurs CEO Vinai Venkatesham has revealed that Tottenham have lofty ambitions to win both the Premier League and the Champions League. Things are starting to come together for Tottenham Hotspur this season after a difficult few months in the Premier League.
Spurs came close to losing their Premier League status last campaign, but thanks to head coach Roberto De Zerbi, they escaped the drop, picking up 11 points from the seven games he took charge of. However, Tottenham could not pick up where they left off at the start of the 2026/27 season, making a poor start that left them winless in their first six outings.

MORE SPURS STORIES Speaking to The Sports Agents, he said: "Ultimately, I guess the best way to answer your question is what are we here for?
If you work for Tottenham, when we talk about being here to win, that means we're here to win the Premier League. That's what this football club wants to do.
It wants to win the Premier League and it wants to be consistent in the Champions League and it wants to ultimately win the Champions League. Can I tell you what year that's going to happen in?
Obviously I can't but that's what we're aiming for and that's what I want every single person that works for this club to think about every single day. I want them to never settle and I want us to be completely relentless in that pursuit.
Can Spurs back up Venkatesham's ambitions? This is far from the first time the Tottenham CEO has stated the club's aim to win the Champions League or the Premier League.
Back in June 2025, he made a similar statement. In fact, former Spurs chairman Daniel Levy had similar aims but never delivered.
So far, under the new regime, Tottenham have shown a willingness to invest in their squad, doing so in the summer transfer window, when they spent close to £400 million.
